Well, let's see - a user calls the hot line and says he has a hardware problem. Unfortunateloy, none of the service guy's tools to figure out what's wrong are available, becuase the customer is running Linux. So it could be hardware, software, or pilot error, and no way to tell which one.

The technicians who answer the phones for Deskpro problems have Linux machines set up, have been trained in Linux, and can get the problem analyzed. Not so with Presario. The service and support in that business is the hardest - users may know nothing, some of the "live" transcriptions are very funny but also kind of sad, like the lady who was dutifully typing in "C:SLASHWINDOWSSLASH" and kept getting "command not found"...

Who knows, maybe next year.
