Hey Jon you have earned a very distinct honor in my book.

That being:

Who knows what the cost was! Who really cares! For all we know, Mark Mitchell could be one of EDIG's largest shareholders, and told the company they could place e.Digital's name on his car. Maybe there was a special connection with the event organizers. Maybe this is but the first of several public promotions we'll see in order to help establish a branding to e.Digital's name. They got a good public relations company--why not use it!

Besides, it's common for corporations to sponsor charitable, athletic or other types of events. Nothing unusual. What is unusual is to find somebody complaining that such happened. Indeed, the world would be to the better if we'd see more corporate interactions within the respective communities.

I have no complaint! The guy tried to qualify and win--he didn't. We lost the last ballgame (fifth loss) of our softball season. So what? We won 13 of 'em. And guess what! Our wins and losses record didn't mean beans to the local pub who sponsored us--they were happy to contribute and be part of a community event. We didn't take first place, finished in second. But maybe we'll win in the Playoffs; and maybe Mark Mitchell will qualify and win yet some other race down the road.

By the way, corporations help with the Olympics too. Is this a worthwhile corporate contriubtion? Of course it is. Anything like this is meaningful. In my view, e.Digital is to the better for doing it. Glad they did it.

Meanwhile, on to another subject:

Jon,

why would I know what it cost? I know you think...I have these mysterious powers...but that's your fantasy...

it could have been FREE for all I know... maybe it was all donated...lol

or paid for by a shareholder...eh?

smile....or could have been millions and millions and millions.... hey...

that is not the point...butterbrain... I do not assume that it was expensive..and worthless...but I understand why you do....

smile...MIR
