"Ici est tombe...." On Choosing to Fight
By Reginald H. Howe

July 17, 2000

Dotting sides of buildings in Paris
are many little plaques proclaiming,
"Ici est tombe...."

They mark spots where members of the
Resistance fell during the street fighting
that preceded the liberation of Paris
in August 1944.

Close inspection of nearby wall areas
often reveals bullet scars.....

General Patton liked to suggest
that wars are best fought
not by dying for your cause
but by making the other guy die for his.

Assisting GATA is the best way
that I know to try to put an
"Ici est tombe l'ESF"
on the side of the
U.S. Treasury Building in Washington,
or to achieve the ultimate victory
of justice over greed,
an "Ici est tombe Goldman Sachs"
at 85 Broad St., New York, N.Y.

-END-

Warning, ok to buy physical gold, silver, diamonds, rainbow pots
but if you do and do not store them off-home-site non-fungible
and rather have them available in the privacy of your home
so that at each days end you can touch and look and do what
ever one wants to, for example a zillion ounces of gold.
ok, but remember the bank robber replying
to the question by the Sheriff of "why?"
"Thats where the money is."
So if you do store it at home,
use a safe, but when the doorbell bongs
before opening the door, ask
"Hark, who goes there..state your purpose."
and you hear "... where the gold is."

Bob, thanks for your many replies.....

... something like the Silver Pledge Poll
to stir up silver demand and captivate people
into purchasing physical silver.....

... point of the pledge is to cause
increased demand in the metals
with a physical delivery,
causing the possible big amount
of shorts out there to get burned.

... the whole point of the pledge
is to cause those papers that represent
physical to come home and be counted.

Will be lots of MIAs.....

... think its time for Bill Murphy
to spend a little time away from the cafe
and go to gata.org
and do like the Silver Pledge Poll web site
into a gold one.

(off topic) - A way to store your own physical gold & silver at home.

Armor Safes - Yes, but there is a problem. = weight & size

... armored safes for the home,
most all arrive as a single piece
being extremely heavy, needing a dozen folks
or an honest to goodness for real Superman,
and a big wide door for access to a room.
... you can obtain a first class armor safe
that have the 4 sides, top and bottom not welded,
but incorporate strong-as-welds and tamper proof
an interlocking method needing no tools, where you
would receive on delivery 6 seperate boxes that are
easily movable by a single person using a dolly,
or by 2 fearless men wanting to impress a lady.

Note, I have absolutely no personal or financial connect
to the following described company.

zanottiarmorsafes.com

Zanotti Armor Safes have set new standards for gun safes.

Pound for pound, ZANOTTI ARMOR "INTERLOCKING" gun safes
are the strongest and highest quality on the market today!

The "INTERLOCKING" design enables the user
to easily move and install their safe anywhere!

Doug, it's time for GATA to act. No more talk of 'a future law suit'! Let's get it going! What's the hold up? Is it that GATA hasn't yet raised enough money to pay for the big legal guns? Is it that it can't get the evidence? You're in 'like Flint' with the GATA leadership, so please let us know what is causing the delay! Thanks.

"If all of the dollars in circulation (currently $560 billion) were backed with gold, the implied price would be about $2,500."

I love it when the "experts" can not divide.
$560B divided by 261M is $2146, not $2500 !

Also, the last report I saw of currency in circulation
was 523B which when divided by 261M is $2004

It's a fun calculation, but moot point,
since currency isn't backed by gold.

(GATA Committee) Help GATA as it returns to press Congress for answers.

This supplements the Gold Anti-Trust Action Committee's web site
gata.org and keeps interested parties advised of developments
involving the lawsuit it plans to bring against those it accuses of illegal collusion
to control the price and supply of gold, other commodities, and related securities.
