Bombardier Aerospace Acquires Skyjet.Com, Bombardier
Enters e-commerce World With Online Air Charter
Capability

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--JULY 17, 2000--Bombardier Aerospace today announced the
acquisition of Skyjet.com, a pioneer in real-time online air
charter reservations.

"This is an exciting development for Bombardier and its customers,
employees and shareholders and we are indeed delighted to welcome
Skyjet.com to the Bombardier business aircraft family," declared
Rob Gillespie, president, Bombardier Aerospace, Business Aircraft.

"This agreement with Skyjet.com now places Bombardier - already
the second largest user of business jet charter in America - in a
solid position to assume a leadership role in the ongoing growth
and development of the charter industry.

"Moreover, we are also entering the dynamic e-commerce world with
a partner committed to ensuring that corporate aircraft customers
and users get the most from their precious business and leisure
time.

"We certainly look forward to working with Trevor Cornwell and his
team as we continue to support and develop the excellent
foundation they have built."

Stated Trevor Cornwell, chief executive officer of Skyjet.com:
"Our goal at Skyjet.com is to constantly make air charter more
readily available to increasing numbers of people who need to
travel. And now, with the full support of Bombardier, the largest
and also, I feel, the best-managed company in corporate aviation,
I am confident that we will intensify these initiatives to meet
our mandate."

Based in Washington D.C., Skyjet.com was founded in 1997 to meet
the growing needs of U.S. air charter users and operators.
Recognizing that the air charter industry is comprised of numerous
small-fleet operators, Skyjet.com specialists created a web-based
reservations system that effectively locates the best charter
solutions in the U.S. industry and allows users to book their
reservations directly online at Skyjet.com's website situated at
www.skyjet.com.

More than 230 affiliated charter operators currently participate
in Skyjet.com, representing more than 1300 business jets or about
70 per cent of the U.S. and Canada-based fleet available for
charter.
