I can see why companies in the same field as CLYC would rather contract out their research to CLYC. They can either develop the research, which can take years and millions of dollars, or they can pay for the usage of the already developed research and technology which CLYC will have. I assume that DNA Print will take out patents on their research and technology. Once a patent is taken out another company cannot simply duplicate the technology that CLYC will have. Therefore they will have to resort to paying a royalty fee for the research and technology which CLYC will have. I read the article in the Herald Tribune dated July 2nd. The article makes it clear that they are way ahead in the game and are close to distinguishing themselves and setting themselves on the road to becoming a Fortune company.
