Chester Holdings Ltd. Appoints E-Relations Manager

SIMPSONVILLE, S.C., Jul 17, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Chester Holdings Ltd. (OTC
BB: CHES) has retained the consulting services of Stephen Schwed to assist the
company in developing an "e-relations" center and web site to respond to both
Investor and Public Relations inquiries.

A plan to implement a web site for Chester Holdings Ltd. is under development
and is tentatively scheduled to be available within 30 days, to assist in making
information about the Company and it's activities available to all who are
interested. "It has been a challenge to be able to effectively respond to all of
the inquiries we have received over the past few months due to limited
staffing." stated President, Michael O'Shea. Mr. O'Shea went on to further say:
"Clearly, this will help get the information out to the masses that are
interested in the status of the Company. Steve has been retained to assist with
this project because of his previous relationship with Chester Holdings as an
employee and his experience in the areas of Customer and Investor Relations as
well as in developing an "e-relations" program for a major wireless
telecommunications firm here in the U.S." O'Shea went on to add "In this age of
the internet, more and more investors are relying upon corporate web pages for
information that previously has taken a tremendous investment in support staff,
mailing and print costs to get information out to potential and existing
shareholders. Web sites and bulk e-mail can certainly be an effective tool in
reducing those costs and response time in answering important questions that
investors pose."

"It's my hope to have the entire program implemented in a very short period of
time and provide answers to a great number of questions that are being handled
by phone, and then passed on through various newsgroups and bulletin boards,"
stated Schwed. "We hope to be able to publish other information on the web site
that will enhance the quality and content of the information being circulated
via the Internet regarding Chester Holdings Ltd. This should provide a new
channel for information to flow about the company and allow for an efficient
employment of available resources."
