Hi YxY - thanks. It appears the article is far more limited in scope than I ve anticipated. Obviously, JDSU is in the momo mode [and so are many other fiber optics components makers] However, there are many disruptive technologies out there that may help the continuous growth. It is interesting that the article thinks only the backbones are optical in nature. Not sure if it includes the metro systems, but there is another disruptive technology calling for the optical to be the last mile solution. Finally, the real determining factor is usage. To use an analogy, for the last 6 years, people are saying PC is going to be a goner. Well, looking at my PS/2 sitting at the corner, there is some truth to it. Thanks again best, Bosco
