I have to disagree, doc. Nobody can time the market or a stock consistently. It's a waste of time and effort.

Now if you want to shift the emphasis to waiting patiently for a good valuation, I'll concede it can be done, but only by a very few who have the gift.

Jacob, that is putting a value on the purchase, not timing it. Think about it. You buy because the price is low or right, not because of the minute, day, week, month or year.
