<Does not INTC have extensive CDMA ASIC experience already? Aren't they already making ASICs for QCOM?>

To my knowledge INTC is yet to produce a single ASIC for the mobile industry.INTC and TXN are both trying to get into the market by aqcuisitions of smaller companies who have some CDMA knowledge. You have to remember these smaller companies on their own have not been able to take anything from Qcom market share in the asics business.

I would be shocked if INTC produced ASICS for QCOM.

I would also like to point out that the main obstacle of designing asics is the software part of it,which is what NOK has struggled with.

I would welcome any corrections on the above as they are to the best of my knowledge.
