It's hard for me to want to buy any stocks right now, when all I hear from the local portfolio managers and investment counselors is that they have been advising their clients over the past few weeks to "raise cash" and open some short positions.

As one fellow repeatedly says, "If you've got money burning a hole in the your pocket right now, go to the mall, don't go to the stock market."

My only purchases this week have been a couple of tiny crappers (small cappers?) which could go to zero but which almost have nowhere to go but up.

Any "money" that appears to be looking for a home in the market right now is likely owned by daytraders, not investors.

My opinion only, based on what I hear from some "professionals" in the stock biz.
