Yes, the selling decision is far harder than the buying decision [there is probably a parallel here with political regimes, eh] ... it helps imho to see them all as just paper, not get attached [mind you, that's true of fiat money as well, eh, lol].

The expression 'free shares' is used to describe the widespread practice [well widespread among canehjun speckie players anyway]

Yes I understand the expression, but in a way that quote about receiving/rejecting a specific amount in a way explains that practice. i.e. If you have decided to sell, then sell the entire thing since [supposedly], you have met your objective, you MADE money.

One should then move assets to the next play which has the better chances of succeeding.

I understand the philosophy behind it, but not necesarilly the logic... then again.... we had concluded that as far as the stock market, irrationality is perhaps a better course of behavior... hehehehehehe.
