There is a big difference between the USA and Europe. When we have an account on our name with a brooker in Belgium, and we put our shares in this account, they can't be shorted, but we can always sell them ( maybe with a delay of maximum 15 minutes). Naked shortening is only possible by MM's. Borrowed shortening is possible by all not US citizen!!! I still think to get the shorters out of the play, is to put a sell order on your shares at a very high price. The only think to do against naked shortening is: BUY up all the shares :-$)))) Ernie
