USB 2.0 ports being added to the next generation decoders??

From Cypress's Earnings PR.

--Cypress announced the sampling of a high-performance, 48 MHz, USB family: EZ-USB FX(TM). EZ-USB FX is capable of gluelessly creating a USB port for practically any peripheral system -- including mass storage, Home PNA (Phone Network Alliance), wireless LAN, video, DSL, cable modems, scanners and printers. The EZ-USB FX controller has been one of the most successful products in Cypress's history with regard to reference design wins, including designs for DSL modems (3Com, Alcatel, Analog Devices), MPEG-2 video (C-Cube, iCompression, Stream Machines), Home PNA (3Com), and wireless LAN (Cisco, Lucent).

BillyG- Would you happen to know when Umesh said(in the last CC) CUBE has exited the PC market, did that mean notebooks too? I was under the assumption it did include notebooks too. But I'm only guessing. Thanks. -MikeM(From Florida)
