samim. What will be even more contraversial is those GPRS "Brain Cookers" that NOK and Ericy are planning to deliver to Europeans and third world countries. CDMA averages lowest emissions by far.

CDMA offering that uses the lowest levels of emissions of all phones

GSM 900 handsets transmit a maximum average power of 1/4W while GSM 1800 and 1900 handsets transmit a maximum average power of 1/8W. In areas with good signal strength the actual power transmitted is considerably lower.

What is the maximum average power transmitted by CDMA handsets? The data sheets for the Qualcom chipsets suggest 0.6W. Any comments?
