You can get rid of them one year but they're always back the next. The army must have sprayed the entire state of Alaska with DDT for three or four years (and that stuff was pretty effective). They were genuinely trying to eradicate the mosquitos but they always came back the following year.

If we're out in the wild we wear repellant, in populated areas they spray.

Alaska is a beautiful place to visit. In Fairbanks where I live the summer temperature mostly stays between 70 and 80. The hottest I've seen here is 98, but I've also seen -68.
