When you talk about solid earnings, you have joined the camp of the FA folks. But you can't do that 'cause then you gotta start thinking about P/E ratios and stuff like that.

Higher earnings justify higher stock prices ..

Dude .. these kind of things are just sales props to be able to sell stock. All that really matters is how much money there is to throw at stocks, and how much of it can be talked into the market. That's the real FA ..
