No doubt many posters feel a homosexual life is worth more than a heterosexual's. I'd be interested in knowing what you read on this thread that supports that conclusion. Amaze me, please. Karen

No doubt many posters feel a homosexual life is worth more than a heterosexual's. Nobody has claimed this. The assumption behind "hate crime" laws is simply that homosexuals face a higher degree of threat, and therefore require a higher degree of protection. You may or may not agree with this assumption, but there is no point in pretending that it is something that it is not.
