Re: LU foray into OFDM

The announcement of the formation of Flarion by LU may be a direct response to the formation of Radiata which was announced in April. Cisco and Broadcom are the major backers of Radiata, which aims to introduce 54MB fixed wireless access this year. Cisco and Broadcom have been working together on fixed wireless data since late last year. If successful, this technology would seem to have the potential to impact the use of HDR in fixed applications.
