People with money will obviously have no problem paying for treatment. It's the unfortunates who require government funding that cause the problem. Perhaps the govt will only ante up $1200 of the $2400 treatment cost. What does that do to the revenue projections. I believe that the analyst has also pooh poohed Miravant product because you would be much more light sensitive. Well if you're going blind you would not mind spending one month indoors watching TV, especially in January or February. If the Miravant product works as well and costs less don't you think the US government would go with the cheaper homegrown version rather than the more expensive Canadian treatment. Just my viewpoint.
