According to the CC, Rambus receives somewhere between 0.1% and 1% royalties for SDRAM for Toshiba.

No, what Harmon said was that the magnitude of the royalty rate is on the order of 1% versus .1%. That's a big difference from what you said.

Will the total earnings from this pay for one Rambus employee's stock options?

It beats not getting 1% of SDRAM revenues.
