Westell's WireSpeed modems and ADSL Routers work without interruption of regular
voice service on an existing office or home phone line. The DSL technology provides
reliable, high-speed, Internet connection at downstream data rates of up to 8 Mbps and
upstream data rates of up to 800 Kbps. WireSpeed modems are "plug and play" and
help to lower total system costs by virtue of their plug and play configurations, software
download capability and the fact that there is no need to "crack a computer case" to get
service up and running. SBC will use Westell's WireSpeed modems.
