I'm able to sympathize completely with you. There are few companions in life as faithful and as trusting as a dog. It's very hard when you lose one.

13 years is a full age for a dog, hopefully she didn't suffer much. Sometimes donating the dog's toys, food, etc to an animal shelter will help another, less fortunate animal. In a few months you'll remember the good times you both shared, and you'll smile. GSR
