add....ca, bmcs, ifmx, cpwr and a few others so far to the UIS list.... it's clearly not a company specific problem at this point....but the age old issue of capex budgets etc.... thought some would like to blame the product change on ibm's mainframe line up as the continuing MIPS excuse..... not sure I buy that one.... it's bigger than that.

I don't know much about this so should probably keep my mouth closed, but the version of 2000 that is now out there is strictly a business application. And bizes aren't biting too much after all the buildout they did for y2k. The consumer win2000 won't be out for quite some time. Isn't your brother some sort of computer geek? He should be able to 'esplain it.

Niles is touting it because that is the only way he can justify his sector calls. He sure has elevated POS to the moon. -ng-
