what you say makes sense....sense in the fashion that interbank borrowing is next to zip.

Payouts are less as well, and I do not think there will be a rush out of US Treasuries because of an increase in rates in Japan. There may be currency speculation but I think the bulk, or more conservative funds, would stay with US markets.
