gauguin: I have been complaining for months on the Raging Bull board about NETP's inept PR. The comapany has acknowledge the complaints. I think, the company has put together a serious response. A 6 city pre-earnings tour is just finishing, there will be a road show afterwards, they are talking to 7 new analysts - so perhaps if any of them decide to cover they will act as competition for the underwriters.

I don't know how they sell their products although you can get a clue from their web site. Intentional Reality, one of the posters on RB, has attended one of their trade shows, I might attend the London Summit in Septmeber.

The direct sales force is on quotas.

Nobody has ever seen a NETP product ad in any media. But this may be because they have as many orders as they can handle. Or maybe they are using their own product and e-mailing targeted ads. 50% sequential quarterly growth for 4 quarters ( soon to be 5) is not bad - and they have doubled the direct sales force as well as adding indirect distributors and ASPs.

I am not sure I get your point on Peppers and Rogers. They have entered into a formal partnership with NETP to sponsor, organise and promote the Personalization Summits and Personalization.com which were conceived by NETP. My point was that P and R will do a better job of leveraging it than the PR firm hired by NETP - Waggoner Edstrom.

There are now to be two summits a year in the US and there is one coming up in London. The second summit took place in April, it was a sell-out and double the size of the first one in November.
