The reason why there are so many QCOM posts is because unlike, say CSCO or NTAP, there is much controversy in connection with QCOM and its future. Who is out there saying Oracle's database management system won't be adopted or will never work or they must have it free? Who is expecting to get MSFT's Windows 2000 for zero? In those cases there is no controversy, hence few posts. I personally don't own any QCOM, maybe because I don't own a cell phone, but it certainly is a fascinating problem. QCOM at this level could very well be the biggest bargain I ever saw; I just don't know. Hence I look forward to each installment of this drama, and each wise comment.

Fred,

This is how I see it. If you think my posts about Qualcomm constitute thread bloat, don't bother reading them. Simply skip to the next post.

The difference between my posts and powerchips's posts is that I'm extending the courtesy of discussing a subject within the frame of reference that people show up here to consider.

And frankly, instead of making appeals for other subjects and expressing disapproval of what you feel is a tired subject, maybe you should help solve that problem by contributing meaningful posts on your own. Otherwise, I really don't see that you're in a reasonable position to complain.

Fred, you know how to be popular at a party in your new neighborhood, don't you. Don't ask me to support your rant. I'm a regular here. I got rich on QCOM. I am learning from the discussion, which has been going on for about 15 months now.

If you have a contribution to make, then make it. If you don't like it here, go somewhere else.
