Thanks Geoff, Oops, I got most of the story right, I'll never rely on my memory again.... <gg> in fact they must be kicking themselves for letting the technology slip away. Both NT and ALA have filed suits recently against former employees who went on to found or work for startups. My impression is that there is a real brain drain occurring in the largest of the telecom equipment vendors, as the brightest, most aggressive engineering talent decides that some stock options are worth a lot more than others. :) Best, Ray
