A disinformation campaign of some sort appears to be in place. All these analysts are saying Qualcomm loses out in W-CDMA, TD-CDMA because somebody they trust told them.

Somebody is sending out bunk to major analysts and they are believing it. They simply don't believe Dr. J.'s side of the story because it sounds to good to be true. The only thing I can figure is competitors spreading the bad stuff in order to bring an inferior product to market, W-CDMA, which they get royalties for. Other possible motives can include face-saving (the European model of control through buereacracy (I have no idea how to spell that word) takes a black eye), or weakening Qualcomm's share price for a hostile takeover.

But I am starting to think it's not all the analyst's fault. There is some funny business going on here.
