Manny, You will receive an email from them telling you that they scheduled an appointment with your local phone company to install the line. If your telephone box is on the outside you need not be home. If it is in your house someone has to be there to let the tech in. After they complete the line installation you will get an appointment from the modem company. As far as Etrade is concerned, call the Power Etrade number and listen to the menu - they actually have a selection for DSL installation questions.
