No no no. When MSFT says "research and development" they actually mean "legal fees". <g> --- We'll see how feeble this analysis is in the coming days. --- BTW, SUNW reports on Thursday should you want to do your own comparative analysis between today's earnings report from MSFT versus textbook solid earnings from a HEALTHY company; the kind that lead markets. These boys do offer SOME entertainment, no?

To be honest, they do. It's seem that the 'classic' TMs provided some fresh debating points as time went by. These guys sing the same tune repeatedly. If one assumes the role of Thread Moron, they assume a duty to be a moron as well as be on the thread.

Although I didn't agree with many of the points raised by the earlier TMs, I was profoundly impressed by their ability to dig up, and post links to, almost every negative opinion expressed on-line. They were like search engines permanently instructed to detect crap. Likewise, I was amazed at their stamina: How they maintained their energy and motivation was beyond me. At least Microsoft shareholders had profitable portfolios to keep them focused. These guys just lose, and lose more.

Cheers, PW. (ACB<$1)
