Outstanding quarter and year. Bravo MSFT. If growth does increase beyond the current levels we could see the market reward MSFT with PEs similar to ORCL, CSCO or AOL. That of course would result in the stock doubling or tripling.

I'm not saying that it will happen, but the picture is much brighter than the MSFT bashers on this board would have us believe.

You're confusing an OS with a GUI.

Put the MSFT interface on a stable operating system and you might have something. (Or you could buy a Macintosh.)

Excel is a great product. Port it to Linux.

MSFT has had a great run. It will continue to make money. It just looks like its days as a growth stock are behind it. Valuations have to come down.

I repeat. Operating systems are free. Browsers are free. Office suites are free.

The requirements for internet software will only get more demanding. HotMail doesn't run Windows. That speaks volumes.

As to the DOJ ... read the findings of fact.
