The reason why inventories are at minimal levels at the high end is that it (inteL) cannot produce that which the market wants to bear at that end. Just like Satchel P. once said: "Don't look back inteL, AMD might be gaining on you."

at this point it is all a PR game. Since Intel is selling their chips to large oems at deep discount the only prices that would be affected are those at retail where intel is loosing it's stronghold. I believe that most of the revenue is coming from commercial sector so ........
