You haven't convinced me, but I'm not an accountant (and never hope to be one) so I'm going to let it go; I concede you could be right, but I'm not comfortable with your interpretation. The best Web resource I was able to find on the issue (without spending a lot of time) is: ftp.aicpa.org in the section entitled "Multiple-Element Arrangements" around page 15. Perhaps a real accountant will step in and clarify this -- or not; we're getting fairly far afield of discussion that fits this forum, anyway. JMHO.
