Good find! Of course, Intel is crowing about how their revenues are so much higher than last year.

Fleck is gonna eat this up.

(edit at 7:12 -- I checked out the yahoo board, they are bulled up beyond belief. gonna be a down day for INTC tomorrow after all those guys finish buying the ready-made gap-up open.)

i like the $2,3 bn. in interest and 'other' income (read: judicious dumping of over-inflated MU stock).

from what one hears re. pricing developments it is no surprise that operating earnings didn't improve much in spite of the sales gain.

i wouldn't be surprised either if the new capacity ramp-up coincided with declining demand and not the 'expected strong demand'. that's anyway what usually happens in the semi industry...
