thanks Roebear, one of the teaching tools that Larry Connors uses is historical volatility... Basically the longer time frame a historical volatility ratio is under 50 percent, the larger the market move will be...If my reading is correct on AEM, we have been sitting at about 20 days with this reading...I know that whenever the move occurs, my TA targets will be quite conservative.. I usually don't follow any stock long term(when I do, I usually get burned), but AEM is at the bottom of its cycle, and my bet is a sizeable breakout is coming to the upside...

On a stock-by-stock basis, we note the following gold stocks as conforming to the parameters of a bullish parabolic pattern, and therefore ripe candidates for accumulation: Iamgold [IAM:TO], Agnico-Eagle [AEM:NYSE], Aur Resources [AUR:TO], Placer Dome [PDG:NYSE], Battle Mountain [BMG:NYSE,which appears to be accumulated at around $2.06], Geomaque Exploration [GEO:TO], Lihir Gold ADR [LIHRY:OTC, a big breakout candidate], and Cambior Inc. [CBJ:AMEX].
