LG, sorry to hear that, remember imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

>>>that they will HONOR the hard work and effort it takes to develop and maintain a quality thread<<<

fooooget it, there is no internet utopia, you have to tolerate the fat to get the steak.

stay the course, here!

LG i don't follow your work closely but i do have you people marked and try to keep up with your post. I do want to thank you for your contributions to si. Also i want to encourage you to ignore what you don't like about si and continue to run your thread the way you see fit.

So what if some idiots go out and copy cat your thread, its not the same LG. There is only one LG and that is what makes your thread different than one that anyone else could create. So if you benefit by doing your work here on si, then do it for that reason, don't stop because you want to try to get back si. The only one who will miss out will be you and the people who follow your work.

Take care,

LG
I think that those with half a brain can tell the difference
between the real deal and the imitation. Personally, I wasn't
even aware of the copycats! But now that I am, why would I want to listen to the rejects from this fine thread? I think
maybe you are over-reacting to the situation but in the final
analysis, I certainly respect your decision. You can expect me to visit you site and your new site to come when it gets
off the ground. Have appreciated this forum since I started
visiting a few short months ago. I am lightyears ahead in knowledge for the trouble. Too bad S.I. could not stay the
course and support fine original work and thought with the
small effort to protect the infringement of originality. It
will diminish to some extent the quality of the thread not
to post your fine charts, etc....but at least I know where to find them!
Best of Luck.

LG....

I want to start by thanking you. You, simply, have made me some cash. Most recently on that pop of QCOM. I rode it up 10 points and bailed.

In general, your presence has been one of the most insightful and generous on SI. I've had you peoplemarked for some time. You've set a great example. Period.

However...with your choice to depart I'm reminded of a quote I read a few years back. The author believed, in this "Global", mobile, fast-paced world that the most politically radical thing a person could do is stay put.

You don't need SI but SI may well need you....

Thanks LG
