OT Gary, PPD PrePaid mainly provides coverage so individuals and small businesses can have some protection from onerous legal bills in case action is taken against them [us]. I would think it fairly recession resistant. Also, the tendency for our country to be more litigous rather than less should persist. A lot of people don't realize they could be sued in certain auto accident situations and the insurance company won't cover legal bills of defense. Just one example. I think it also provides coverage depending on what policy is purchased for access to participating lawyers for a certain # of hours per year for more routine legal matters. This all from memory in looking at their annual report some time ago. I'd request a copy of their annual report for a good description of just what they do to help people and make a fair profit doing so. thanks, Mike
