absentee landlord? Currently absentee. My brother does the actual work on the farm and we split expenses and profit. It's my hope to begin spending summers out of the current 107 degree Texas heat but these darn tech companies grab you by the pocketbook with stock options and make it hard to leave. I did go up there and spray beans. We goofed and planted roundup ready beans, sprayed with roundup, but we had planted roundup ready corn the year before so all sorts of leftover corn came up in the bean field. Had to re-spray. TP (I calculate I need $2 million to tell my employer I'm taking the summer off and I don't care what he does about it, maybe next year).
