I am sometimes away from SI for weeks or months. You seem to be here daily, not I. That you could not describe heaven (nirvana, valhalla, et al.) is no surprise to me. I am not "rankled" by individuals ruining their minds, destroying it with irrationality and fantasies originally spun by crouching primitives that quaked at windstorms and cowered at comets. No... not rankled... disgusted is a better word. Disgusted that that type of mindset is one of the main reasons why our race is being held back from faster progress. If it wasn't for christianity and the other cults of the world, I am convinced that Mankind would have been on the planets of our solar system hundreds of years from now and perhaps we would have vessels capable of travelling to the stars right now.
