Here's the EXDS bit:

"

Exodus (EXDS:Nasdaq - news) remains the best Web-hosting play, and, despite the April slaughter, is having a fairly good year. Up only 4 for the year at midyear, Exodus looks to me like it's ready for another storm surge up, assuming the market holds through the summer.

Last week the stock price got a nice bump from investors betting Exodus' talks with Global Crossing (GBLX:Nasdaq - news), to acquire Global's new-ish GlobalCenter hosting business, would jell. Unfortunately, that deal missed, and Exodus will be giving back at least some of those gains this week. But it's reported to have a backup deal in the wings to acquire Digex (DIGX:Nasdaq - news), another hosting competitor, which may temper investors' disappointment.

CEO Ellen Hancock and her board have used splits aggressively to keep the stock moving up; with three splits in less than a year, they clearly understand the importance of that rising stock price as acquisition funny-money. I think everything about Exodus looks strong now.

(OT) Auric was also left out in the wind to twist by the recent raging surge of San Diego-based WFII. See that board for more fun with Boredom-ric, best experienced however with him on your Ignore list.
