"Does anyone have any insight into why SNDK dropped this morning? It traded near 63 during the first half hour. Could this be another buying opportunity"

(1) All 20 stocks in the "pure chip" SMH HOLDER are going
down. School(SMH) down, fish(SNDK) down.

(2) As to when to buy more SNDK, join Yahoo HAL2 for a less risky price.

(3) Or join Yahoo HAL3 (SNDK ONLY) club for more risky buy points.

(4) Both are still over 10% away from good buy point.

(5) Click my name to see URL's for joining club.

art, i think it's the general tone of the market... stocks are being sold on the news... good or bad. $63 probably was a good opportunity, but i missed it... sometimes it's better to have the cash.

as for QCOM, i'm not nearly as optimistic about their earnings forecast as i am about SNDK's. yes, there is tremendous potential for QCOM and they might grow at 30-35% per year.... but it's still trading at 85x earnings.... just b/c it's dropped from 200 to $63 doesn't make it a bargain (at least, not in my eyes). i traded a little and have stepped out of the way on this one....
