My guess is that we are going to see a nearly 200 point down day within a week. It may happen today.

We're in a market that's treading water for the summer. No one wants to get too excited over stocks because they have vacation time coming up and don't want to miss something while they're gone. Another matter - Just heard that some posters on the YAHOO boards have been sued for "defaming" one of the analysts for Credit Suisse. (I believe on the ELAN board, but the inflammatory notes have already been erased.) I guess we have to be very careful now about what we say about analysts. Who knows where the next lawsuit is coming from . . .
