Connor26 -- NTRS: All I can say is, Wow! This stock is such a workhorse; it just keeps chugging along. I don't know why it consistently performs so well; it's quite richly valued relative to other financial-services companies, and yet it hasn't even blinked in the face of rising interest rates, the prospect of slower economic growth, etc. It could be viewed as a takeout candidate and so have some premium built in for that . . . but NTRS is probably too expensive to be bought right now unless the acquirer wants to take on some dilution. Whatever: there's no reason to ask too many questions about a great company that is nicely rewarded in the stock market.

I expect we'll see another stock split when NTRS hits 100 again -- maybe next winter? (Or earlier??)

I'm glad you mentioned this today -- something to feel very good about on a generally blah day.
