the point of futility My great grandfather died before I was born. Is he really gone though? I carry a good portion of his genes, I have been told many of his memories, I have read letters that he wrote. Even if my line dies out and that of my cousins and distant cousins, there were others he affected in his life such that his spirit, if you will, goes on as a diffuse influence across this land and world. Studies of chaos show that each of us has a much larger effect on the future than is apparent by current conditions. TP
