RE:"I saw a report on CNBC about an hour ago that one of the big brokerage houses (forgot which one now) was suing 11 people on the Yahoo board for making derogatory statements about one of their analysts. The lawsuit was to the tune of about 1 million dollars. So much for freedom of speech."

Not only do they want the informaton ahead of the public (so they can distribute it in a smooth and timely fashion, this is their explanation)but now you are saying they don't want to be scrutenized?
I don't think the brokerage houses really want this to go to court...they will be exposed for the manipulators they are (might be).
