If AG wants to create a recession he'll raise 50bp. Looking forward rates are already too high. A 7% fed rate with an inverted yield curve is recessionary. AG knows that he's no doubt jaw boning to gain the maximum effect. He didn't have to attend the Henry Hawkens by law anymore -he choose to. His last few raises haven't even hit the economy yet! He did his job and should just step out of the way and let the markets take care of the dot.com gamblers.

IMO he started raising last August and he will complete this August weather he raises once more 1/4bp or just steps out of the way. Anything more and we'll be all buying bonds!

Didn't most of the investment income Microsoft made come from companies like yahoo and amzn (or ones even more speculative)? I wouldn't be so quick to denigrate them if I were you. Or do you think they're making all that investment income from the money they sunk into T?
