Uncle Frank, you are correct about SSTI. Still, there are a number of dissimilarities. First SNDK has come down 2/3 from its high, SSTI is down roughly 20% (after today). SSTI doesn't have the royalties SNDK does, and the royalties are going to take off even if (when) the price of flash comes down.

Sam's feeling of the 100's in a few weeks may still happen, Nasdaq willing.

Anybody know what the street was looking for in terms of margins and royalty revenues? Quarter looks great...Dan Niles had a great report out on Sandisk when he was with Robbie Stephens...maybe we will here some great things from him from his new Lehman corner office!!

Uncle Frank,

I would be very surprised if the market sold this news. A 50% "surprise" is very damn good. Guidance is strong.

The only problem with this company is it's visibility.

Getting ready for the CC,

John

Uncle Frank,

You are absolutely right! Summertime is trading season for SNDK. The NASDQ rules and we will not see SNDK go up AGAINST the NAS in the summer. We may get a blip for a day or two. However what this great earnings will do is that when the NAS does start up for real (should be about Sept or Oct), SANDISK will go up much faster than most strong tech stocks AT THAT TIME. Until then it's trading season.

This is one strong tornado. Sandisk is one volatile stock. It over-reacts to the market IN BOTH DIRECTIONS! It has been so for several years and should continue for many more. It will be considerably higher in January! Until then, buy on dips. The bigger the dip, the bigger your buy order. That's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

Sandisk, the big picture in a little package
