Would be an interesting acquisition in view of recent history: MAY 26, 2000 MRV Acquires CES in Switzerland and Forms iTOUCH Communications, Inc. Chatsworth, CA -- May 26, 2000 -- MRV Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq: MRVC) today announced the acquisition of Geneva, Switzerland based- CES. CES designs and manufactures solutions for real-time data acquisition systems. Applications of this technology by CES have included real-time fast data acquisition systems for ATM network controllers, nuclear and particle physics and aeronautical flight test equipment. Customers include Airbus Industries, Aerospatiale, CERN, Daimler Benz, Lucent Technologies and Nortel Networks.
