OT -
Access time has definitely gotten worse. It is worse at peak times like market open and close which leads me to think SI could be imporoved by more servers sychronizing the accesses before forwarding the request to the storage devices.

I'm very glad EMC is over 83 1/3 at close. I have a wager of honor that it will hold that price at Thanksgiving day and we now have room to form a solid base before any Oct. market gyrations.

Dear VFD: Yes, yesterday was the PITS. I had no problem early in the morning but frankly, I just got off and watched TV from 10:00-3:00 it was SO SLOW. JDN
