IBM, I was posting new IBM deals almost every day.I mentioned that I never saw a Company do so much business. I was right. From CFO: Backlog at 75 BILLION, up from 62 billion. Balance sheet "strong and healthy" IBM.com revenues up over 50% in second half. Sees cash generation as STRONG in second half. IBM has hired 1800 people to address growth in E-Business. Revenue in Software was driven by Unix and NT. Microelectronics news up substantially. Manny T.

All OT> Drove South today. . .for those tracking markets based on my trips. . .<G>. . .very short drive tomorrow. . before home. . . Had a nice time with our very own Carpedeum and his terrific family. . . . He is everything he seems to be. . . an intelligent easy going guy of excellent character and morals. . . Thanks for taking good care of my family and I as we drove through. Also, best wishes to Steven. . .keep up the great work. .learning the markets so well at a young age. I was very impressed. The people we have on this board are absolutely top quality . . .great individuals. . . and so nice that my wife and I have felt sad upon leaving each of you that we have met. . . We are wondering what state to live in if we decide to move out of TN. . . and each time we meet one of you, we want to be your neighbor and live in each of your towns. . . wish it were possible. . . but as we improve our communications. . .I believe we will all feel even closer. What a joy it has been meeting everyone! Finally, I'll still be out, though home. . . but will check in as I have time.
